Been awhile since I've posted due to finals, starting a new job, etc. I thought i would share this with you all though. No doubt you've heard that Google has had a HUGE 2 day event called Google I/O. They announced a bunch of things, including Android 3.1 and all of its new features and functionalities.
Today on day two they expanded on the new Chrome OS notebook that they built in partnership with Samsung. It's a really beautiful looking machine to be honest. 12.1 inch screen running Chrome OS (it's blazing fast, check the video) with 8.5 hours of battery life, and they are going to be making it extremely affordable. I believe the price will be somewhere around $450USD. Please take a look at the article below, they are even going to allow you to do a payment plan on it ($20/month for students). Google does great things, hopefully with my new job, I grab the experience I need to apply there one day ;]

yep it's not 2 expencive
Google have enough of my data thanks....
It doesn't look bad, but I still want my macbook xD
Not a big fan of Chrome OS. I prefer Peppermint OS with Chrome's Jolicloud application. Together these blow Chrome OS out of the water and allow HARD DRIVE SAVING! Hell Peppermint is so small it can fit comfortably on a 1gig usb and since it's dev tree goes something like this Debian>Ubuntu>Mint>Peppermint, it has a lot of applications and can even run GIMP...
