CCleaner

After reading some comments someone suggested I do a small write up on CCleaner. It's another great program I use to remove junk/temporary internet files, remove invalid registry entries, and stop some programs from starting up with Windows(great feature).

This little piece of software definitely helps with speeding up things like startup, and scanning for viruses/defragging as after you've removed all of the crap that Internet Explorer and Firefox collect, you have less to scan.

If, after viewing the tutorial you have any questions regarding it, don't hesitate to contact me. As always I'll be available to walk you through using it or help you with any problems. Tutorial Below =]

I love CCLeaner! I only run Windows for games, but it really helps with clearing out just hundreds of MB of useless crud. Too bad it isn't opensource, because I'd totally run it on OSX and Arch!

I don't like CCleaner, not because it's bad - it's excellent, but because there are a lot of other programs that do what it does and more. For example, REVO uninstaller. It's a program mainly for uninstalling software (but it checks registry and the disk for leftovers), and it can do everything that CCleaner, Windows' utilites and Tune-Up etc. can do.

Though, it's not free :/

I've had CCleaner for a few months now after hearing how it should speed up your computer by deleting unnecessary files. Last night it freed up 507 mb
